fix the 8yrs old ATX computer or buy a new notebook ?
My 8yrs old ATX computer have burn the fuse of the power cable,
I think the power supply have bad problems,
I can renew it,( cost me US50 ) but who know what will be fail later,
Should I better spend the money to buy a new notebook ? ( US 512)
Besides, what will burn the fuse of power cord?
bad mother board ? or harddisk or power supply ?
8 years is ancient for a computer. If you don't travel, don't get a notebook, they look tempting, but don't. Instead build your own PC, you can build a quality machine with $700 which would be almost twice as good as a $1000 notebook.
